The steel tarps are made with vinyl coated waterproof fabric, and are designed to withstand outdoor conditions so it would keep your load clean, dry, and protected. The steel tarps are UV resistant, mildew resistant, oil/grease resistant, and resilient to tearing. The 18 oz tag on our steel tarps indicates the overall weight of the tarp per square yard, which gives you an idea of the thickness and density of the product. Designed to withstand heavy use, our steel tarps are reinforced with heat-sealed seams and rust-resistant grommets with double-stitched 2″ polyester webbing to protect against potential damage from tie down cord hooks and straps.
